Um… no thanks?

Help Please.

One of the boss men from the club job… uh, invited me on a day trip to Vegas today. “U feeling daring?” I am now 100% convinced he may like me, a little. I had stopped by to check in, he said I could last weekend… he texted me after saying I should have stuck around, we could have got a bite to eat. I joked with M that he loves me… and now, it’s not so funny anymore. At no point have a said I have a boyfriend. Not because I’m trying to play anyone… or for any other reason than, it just hasn’t come up. He said I should take a stab at the logo… I said sure, but I didn’t lay out the structure of my business, I don’t see that it matters. Is that wrong? When I send him stuff, I’m going to say here’s some stuff my business partner and I came up with… like we do sometimes. I feel, in the freelance world, it can turn people off upfront to know you’re a two-person team, so I tend to leave it out, unless asked, until we’re “proven” to them. So now I worry… I’ll be like yeah, here’s work my partner and I did. Who’s your parter? Uh, M. You guys friends? Uh… no, we’re together. Get outta my club ho!

Am I overreacting? Is it not weird to be invited to Vegas… I think so. What do I do!? Honestly. At what point am I supposed to be like, dude, I have a boyfriend, without offending someone. It’s not like he’s “made a move” on me in any real way, other than odd invites… are those moves? I am rethinking pursuing this job… ugh.

While on job topics… the interview today went extremely well. The people are AWESOME and I would love to work there. When we were done (after an hour) she said to me, “So do you need time to think… I mean, are you intersted?” I said yes, definitely… and she said she had an interview tomorrow but she would call me “right after” and let me know. M says I’m “golden,” we’ll see! I also have another interview tomorrow… full time though. The downer on this part time one is it’s kinda far… 32mi.

Update… the situation has been resolved. I kindly responded thanks but no, and I have a boyfriend. He then replied that he wasn’t trying to hit on me he was just spontaneous and though… blah blah blah. It’s okay. Phew!
